CAIRO – The Egyptian Health and Population Ministry said 340,333 decisions were issued during August 2022 to treat patients, especially underprivileged Egyptians, at state expense at a total cost of over 1.415 billion pounds.
The decisions covered patients suffering from blood diseases, tumors and other diseases, the ministry’s Spokesman Hossam Abdel Ghafar said Monday.
Meanwhile, Mohamed Zidan, the head of Egypt’s Specialized Medical Councils, reviewed the measures that should be taken by patients to be treated at state expense.
