Cairo- Egypt’s Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar issued directives to swiftly provide all the necessary medical service to the injured in the fire which broke out Sunday in Abu Sefein Church in Imbaba district in Giza governorate.
As many as 30 ambulances were dispatched to the scene of the fire, said Health Ministry Spokesman Hossam Abdel Ghaffar.
About 55 of those injured in the fire have been rushed to the hospitals of Imbaba and Al-Agouza, added the spokesman.
A state of emergency has been declared at the hospitals in Giza and Cairo governorates, according to the spokesman.
