Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar received a detailed report from the crisis unit on the effects of severe weather between Wednesday morning and early Thursday.
Five injuries were recorded from scattered incidents linked to strong winds and falling objects. No fatalities.
Ambulances responded immediately. Patients were transferred to hospitals. Injuries included bruises, cuts, and suspected concussion. One case required further treatment. Others remain under observation in stable condition.
Minor incidents were reported in Matrouh and Assiut without injuries. Hospitals remain on high alert. Ambulances are stationed on main roads. Crisis room stays active.
Citizens urged to follow safety guidelines during unstable weather and take extra care while driving or staying outdoors.
