Egypt’s Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar on Sunday inspected health facilities in Gharbia.
The minister followed up the performance indicators of the 100 Healthy Days initiative, which, according to presidential directives, was extended further 100 days.
The minister’s tour is part of a series in the governorates to assess public health services, Health Ministry Spokesman Hossam Abdel Ghaffar said.
The minister issued directives to the officials concerned to improve the medical services and finish the health projects in Gharbia governorate as per time schedule and in line with the highest global standards.
Abdel Ghaffar inspected the family planning clinics in the governorate, calling for more intense awareness campaigns on the safest, most effective family planning methods.
