CAIRO – Egypt’s Health and Population Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar discussed with Special Envoy of the Dutch Government for Humanitarian Affairs in Gaza Marjanne de Kwaasteniet and Dutch Ambassador to Egypt Peter Mollema ways of promoting cooperation between the two countries in the healthcare sector.
Both sides tackled the medical support that is offered by Egypt to wounded and sick Palestinians.

The room is in contact with all hospitals receiving the injured coming from the Strip, according to him.
The ministry’s action plans and work programs were also probed in the meeting, added Abdel Ghaffar.
Participants tackled the urgent needs of Gazans and mechanisms for enhancing coordination to ensure the sustainable and safe delivery of medical aid to the enclave.
