Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar on Thursday inspected the Rafah land port on the Egyptian side during a visit to North Sinai governorate.
The minister was accompanied by North Sinai Governor Khaled Megawer and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in North Sinai Amr Adel Abdel’al.
During the visit, Abdel Ghaffar inspected ambulance deployments and quarantine facilities.
He also followed up on the reception of wounded and sick Palestinians.
Earlier in the day, the North Sinai governor received Abdel Ghaffar at upon his arrival at El Arish International Airport.
