CAIRO – Egyptian Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar said that the epidemical situation of Covid-19 is tangibly improving.
Abdel Ghaffar said coronavirus cases were down 33% and fatalities 40% this week, compared to statistics of last week.
The minister’s remarks came during a Cabinet meeting under Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli at the government’s HQ in the New Administrative Capital while reviewing a report about the latest developments of the pandemical situation of Covid-19 locally.
Abdel Ghaffar added that about 95.9 million doses have been administered since the start of vaccination campaigns.
