Egypt’s Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar discussed during a meeting Thursday with Director and General Manager of GMC Services International Ltd (GMCSI) Helen Featherstone cooperation between the Egyptian Health Council and GMCSI in the field of vocational medical education.
During a meeting Thursday on the sidelines of the Global Congress on Population, Health and Development (PHDC’23) held from September 5 to 8 at the New Administrative Capital, under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the two sides discussed the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on offering training to medical teams and upgrading medical licensing examination to be in line with UK standards in this regard.
The two sides stressed the importance of cooperation to set up an updated database for healthcare providers to guarantee continued professional development.
