Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar had talks on Wednesday with Chairman of the Arab Organisation for Industrialisation (AOI) Major General Mokhtar Abdel Latif and a delegation of the organization’s affiliated factories and companies on strengthening joint cooperation and reviewing mechanisms for executing construction works and healthcare facility development projects.

Abdel Ghaffar asserted the state’s strong commitment to enhancing partnerships with national institutions, particularly the AOI, in light of its advanced technical and industrial capabilities.

He stressed the ministry’s dedication to full coordination with all government entities to serve the public interest and prioritize the welfare of citizens.

He directed a comprehensive review of all ministry-affiliated entities and continuous coordination with the AOI to monitor ongoing projects, ensure the highest quality standards, and remove any obstacles to guarantee timely completion and achieve the planned objectives.

Abdel Latif affirmed the AOI’s full commitment to supporting the ministry’s plans and implementing assigned projects according to the latest engineering and technological standards.

He underlined the organization’s industrial capabilities in contributing to the development of healthcare facilities and enhancing the quality of services provided to citizens.

The ministry’s official spokesperson, Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, said the meeting included a detailed review of ongoing construction and development projects and their implementation status.

He confirmed that the minister instructed strict adherence to project timelines, with a focus on equipping facilities with state-of-the-art medical devices and upgrading hospitals to improve service quality and maximize operational efficiency.
