CAIRO – Hayah Karima Foundation has signed a cooperation protocol with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology to carry out the “Digital Decent Life” initiative.

Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat said on Monday that building digital capabilities for citizens is one of the main pillars of development.

The protocol aims to end digital illiteracy for villagers covered by the Decent Life initiative nationwide to develop the countryside and change villages into a safe and productive digital society.

The minister underlined the importance of the protocol to hone digital skills for citizens and help strengthen digital economic empowerment.

Aya el Qamary, head of Hayah Karima Foundation’s board of trustees, lauded fruitful cooperation between the ministry and the foundation to realize the goals of the presidential initiative.
