CAIRO – Egyptian Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources Mohamed Abdel Aati said on Saturday that the Hammam agricultural wastewater treatment plant will be finalized within a year.
During a meeting with the ministry’s officials, Abdel Aati said the project aims to reclaim new agricultural lands in the western part of the Nile Delta using treated wastewater.
He added that the ministry exerts strenuous efforts to confront water challenges through carrying out wastewater treatment projects.
