Egypt’s Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Hani Sewilam Thursday said the ministry has been exerting great efforts in counting assets and lands owned by it, in order to remove any encroachments on them alongside seeking optimum investment opportunities for these assets.
Sewilam made the remarks during a meeting with Assistant Irrigation Minister for Companies and Investment Khaled Wasef to follow up on measures of investing the ministry’s assets and maximizing benefit from them.
The meeting tackled the implementation rate of protocols signed with the ministries of Gharbia, Monufia, Dakahliya and Aswan to maximize benefiting from the assets of the ministry as well as the future plan for implementing similar protocols in the remaining governorates.
