CAIRO – As of April this year, the government of Egypt will start implementing measures ordered by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi with the aim to improve the income of civil servants, pensioners and beneficiaries of the “Takaful & Karama” social programme.
Chairing a Cabinet meeting Wednesday, Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli said this new bunch of social measures reflects keenness of the political leadership on protecting citizens against the impact of global circumstances.
Madbouli also reviewed the outcome of Iraqi Prime Minister Mohamed Shaiaa al Sudani’s recent visit to Egypt and his fruitful meeting with President Sisi.
The premier directed all ministries and bodies concerned to quickly act to digitise their affiliated assets – be that lands, real estate or others. This is a necessary move toward achieving good governance and an efficient management of state-owned assets, Madbouli noted.
