CAIRO – Egypt’s Planning and Economic Development Minister Hala el Said asserted that the government supports entrepreneurship, innovation, startups and small and medium-sized enterprises.
She added that the government is exerting great efforts to provide appropriate environmental system to support such startups.
This came in her speech during her participation in the opening of the 11th edition of the Rise Up Summit, held at the Grand Egyptian Museum under the patronage of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli.
The opening was attended by a number of ministers, businessmen and entrepreneurs.
She pointed out at the ministry’s efforts to support entrepreneurship through implementing Egypt’s 2030 vision.
She added that the government is cooperating with institutions, private sector and civil society to put proposals for the state reform plans, noting that the state’s structural reform programs focus on three sectors; communications and information technology, industry and agriculture.
