Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli chaired the government’s weekly meeting in New Alamein City, reviewing regional tensions, social protection measures, food security, and national projects.
He highlighted President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s directives on irregular workers, freelancers, and Egyptians abroad, stressing the importance of extending social protection and healthcare. Madbouly also pointed to agricultural and livestock projects inspected yesterday, which create jobs and strengthen food security, urging private sector leadership in operations.
The premier noted tangible progress in New Alamein, with housing units delivered, projects entering operation, and rising numbers of residents and tourists.
Madbouli lauded the installation of the second reactor pressure vessel at the Dabaa nuclear plant, calling it a milestone toward generating electricity by 2028.
The prime minister extended condolences over the death of Qatar’s Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, and highlighted President Sisi’s visits to Bahrain and his meeting with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed.
He also underscored Egypt’s solidarity with Arab partners amid regional challenges.
