CAIRO – The cabinet’s media centre denied on Thursday media reports that it issued a decision cancelling face mask wearing in public transportation and indoor public places.
The media centre said it contacted the Health Ministry that dismissed as groundless these reports.
The ministry asserted the importance of wearing face masks in public transportation and indoor areas.
The media centre urged different media outlets to verify the authenticity of news before publishing them.
