Board Chairman of Dar el-Tahrir for Printing and Publishing House Eyad Abul-Haggag has highly appreciated the issuance of The Egyptian Gazette’s first ever educational supplement for language schools students, describing it as “part of Dar el-Tahrir’s social responsibility to support and help students grasp school subjects in line with the state’s plans to develop education.”
For his part, Gazette Editor-in-Chief Mohamed Fahmy said that the paper is keen to reach all students through distinguished educational services in line with Dar el-Tahrir’s history of supporting the students on the one hand and the entire educational process on the other.
The first issue of the Gazette’s educational supplement has seen huge turnout by teachers and students, especially those of Thanaweya Amma (General Secondary Schools Certificate) and 3rd Prep, and was soon sold out.
Director General of the New Cairo Educational Directorate Ayman Moussa expressed admiration of the Gazette’s supplement, which was issued in co-operation with the New Cairo Teachers’ Syndicate and a host of senior teachers and inspectors covering various specialisations.
Moussa also stressed that the supplement would help parents better evaluate their kids’ and their understanding school subjects.
Abdulaziz Fahmy, Director General of the Educational Directorate in El-Shorouk City also lauded the low price of the supplement, saying that the New Cairo teachers support all efforts seeking to improve the educational process, which has come to be based on understanding and analysing, away from rote learning.
