The Egyptian Gazette today includes the fifth edition of the educational supplement for language schools’ students, offering Calculus revision for Thanaweya Amma (General Secondary Schools Certificate) and Algebra for 3rd Prep ones.
Teachers, students, and education officials in Nasr City and New Cairo expressed appreciation and admiration for the fourth edition of the Gazette supplement.
Ahmed Shabaan, Assistant Secretary General of the Syndicate of Educational Professions and Head of the East Nasr City Educational Directorate, said that providing a specialised educational supplement in English is a leading concept because it meets the needs of students in government and language schools, and helps them follow up and review the curricula at a low cost.
He also lauded the twinning and co-operation between Dar el-Tahrir for Printing and Publishing House, the Gazette publisher, and the New Cairo and El-Shorouk Teachers’ Syndicate, to support the education process and serve students’ interests.
The education process was in dire need for such an effort to enrich learning English and help students improve their abilities, Educational Advisor to the Board of Trustees of the New Cairo Schools, and Board Chairman of Al Farabi Language School, Saleh Hegazi said.
Director of the Egypt 2000 schools, Rafeda Asker, shared the view that having a supplement in English. published by such a leading and well-established newspaper like the Gazette, will enrich the educational process at language schools, because it enables students to follow in English the national projects, which are being inaugurated by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi. This will raise the language and cultural levels in increase their awareness and sense of national allegiance.
