CAIRO – The General Authority For Supply Commodities (GASC), on behalf of the Supply and Internal Trade Ministry, announced that it has contracted for 240,000 tons of Russian wheat through a World Bank financing.
The shipment is set to arrive next April.
In a statement Thursday, the ministry said that this came as part of its strategy to enhance its stock of basic commodities.
