The CEO of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) Mohamed Abdel Wahab stressed the depth of the Egyptian-Hungarian relations.
He added that the two countries are keen on enhancing co-operation, especially in promising sectors which are part of development priorities.
He made the remarks on Wednesday during the inauguration of the Egyptian-Hungarian Business Forum.
He said the forum is part of a series of efforts to enhance investment and economic co-operation, noting that the Egyptian economy managed to achieve one of the highest economic growth rates globally.
He added that Egypt is one of the most investment-encouraging countries in the African continent.
