Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said that his field visit to the headquarters of the “Future of Egypt for Sustainable Development” agency is part of the government’s efforts to support projects that provide high-quality agricultural products at reasonable prices, with the aim of enhancing food security by producing essential goods and exporting any surplus.
He also emphasized that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi is closely following up on the agency’s work.
The visit took place Monday in the New Delta area along the “Tahya Misr” axis, where Madbouly was accompanied by several ministers, including those of industry, irrigation, electricity, supply, agriculture, and investment, as well as military engineering officials. Upon arrival, Madbouly was received by the agency’s executive director, Bahaa-el-Din El-Ghannam, and wrote in the guest book expressing pride in all national projects and wishing success to those involved.
Madbouly highlighted that the government is implementing the president’s directives by improving irrigation systems, building grain storage silos, adopting modern land reclamation technology, and upgrading agricultural machinery. These efforts align with the state’s broader plan to expand agricultural land, increase productivity, and integrate such projects into the national strategy for economic development, he said.
