Co-operation between Egypt and the UAE in civil aviation is to be strengthened and their potentials arte too be enhanced in order to establish a firm partnership.
The Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority and the United Arab Emirates General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to this effect.
Minister of Civil Aviation Mohamed Manar and UAE Ambassador to Cairo Maryam al-Kaabi attended the signing ceremony.
Egyptian-Emirati relations are witnessing a great development in various fields, especially in air transport, the minister said, adding that his ministry is keen to further co-operation with Arab countries.
For her part, Ambassador Al-Kaabi stressed the importance of permanent co-operation and coordination between the two countries in the field of civil aviation to serve common interests.
She also affirmed the need to exchange experiences and sharpen the skills of aviation staff in both authorities.
