CAIRO – Wi-Fi internet service will be available at Ramses Station free of charge as of December 1.
The Ministry of Transport signed a contract yesterday with KMT Co, a leading telecommunications firm in the Middle East and North Africa, to provide free Wi-Fi in the Misr station in Ramses next month, a ministry statement said on Tuesday.
This comes to maximise value-added rail services and increase revenues.
The ministry confirmed that this step is part of developing the Egyptian National Railway services and offer customers safe, comfortable travel experiences on a part with those offered by the European operators.
