In a display of camaraderie, former Egyptian Minister of Civil Aviation, Mohamed Abbas Helmy, welcomed his successor, Pilot Samah El-Hefny, at the ministry’s headquarters on Wednesday. The handover was marked by expressions of mutual respect and cooperation between current and former officials.
Helmy congratulated El-Hefny on his new appointment, praising his extensive international experience and capabilities. He wished him success in leading the civil aviation sector through the upcoming period.
El-Hefny expressed his gratitude to Helmy for the warm reception, commending his diligent efforts and wise leadership during his tenure. El-Hefny reaffirmed his commitment to enhancing the status of Egypt’s civil aviation sector both regionally and internationally and to driving further growth and development across all activities within the sector.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Civil Aviation Pilot Montaser Manaa and several senior ministry officials.
