Spokesman for the Egyptian Foreign Ministry Ahmed Abu Zeid said countries that have more than 10,000 nationals, as the case with the Egyptian community in Sudan, need an accurate and well-organized planning to ensure a safe evacuation.
He unveiled on Sunday that a member of the Egyptian community in Sudan has already been wounded, saying the matter requires extreme caution to guarantee the safety of nationals in the unrest-hit Arab country.
As for the diplomatic mission, Abu Zeid stressed that all diplomats will leave Sudan after completing the evacuation of nationals who want to leave, citing the latest safe evacuations of nationals from Libya, Afghanistan and Ukraine.
