Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met Tuesday with his Irish counterpart Micheál Martin, who is currently visiting here.
The meeting took up means of boosting co-operation between the two sides.
The top diplomats also discussed regional and international issues of mutual concern, with focus on the war in Gaza.
They are expected to hold a press conference after the end of their talks.
