As per directives form the political leadership, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Co-operation, and Egyptians Abroad, Badr Abdel-Aati, headed on Sunday to the sisterly United Arab Emirates, beginning an official visit.
Marking the second stop in his tour of several Arab nations, the visit underscores Egypt’s unwavering support and solidarity with the UAE in addressing and condemning Iranian aggression, against the backdrop of the recent dangerous military escalation in the region.
During his stay, Minister Abdel-Aati is scheduled to engage in high-level discussions aimed at strengthening coordination between the two countries to mitigate current tensions.
These talks, the ministry said in a statement, will emphasise the imperative of de-escalation and the prioritisation of diplomatic channels, ensuring that the region avoids further instability and the threats posed to regional peace and security.
