CAIRO – Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry starts a visit to the Omani capital, Muscat, on Saturday to head the Egyptian delegation to the two-day Egyptian-Omani joint committee.
In Muscat, the foreign minister is scheduled to meet with senior Omani officials to discuss spheres of distinguished bilateral relations binding the two countries and exchange views on the key Arab issues and regional and international files of mutual interest, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Hafez said.
A number of memorandums of understanding and bilateral cooperation programs are set to be signed on the fringe of the committee meetings.
During the visit, Shoukry will also attend the inauguration of the third session of Egyptian-Omani business council.
