Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Expatriates Badr Abdelatty emphasised the importance of a purely Lebanese consensus to resolve the ongoing presidential vacancy without external interference.
During a phone call with French President Emmanuel Macron’s special envoy to Lebanon, Jean-Yves Le Drian, Abdelatty highlighted the urgency of empowering Lebanon’s national institutions and ensuring a unified Lebanese-led solution.
He reiterated Egypt’s unwavering support for Lebanon during this critical period, pledging continued assistance to help the country overcome its current challenges.
