Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry is due to head Monday night to the Hungarian capital, Budapest, in a visit that aims at boosting relations.
During the visit, Shoukry will meet his Hungarian counterpart for talks on several files pertaining to relations between Egypt and Hungary as well ways of promoting the current cooperation, said Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid.
Talks on coordination regarding regional and international issues of mutual concern will be followed by a joint press conference, the spokesman added.
The visit falls within the framework of the strategic partnership between the two friendly nations, the spokesman said, adding that it follows successful exchanged visits between the two countries, the last of which was by the Hungarian prime minister to Cairo late February when he met with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
The visit had witnessed sealing a strategic partnership deal between Egypt and Hungary along with signing a set of MoUs, the spokesman added.
