Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty said relations between Egypt and Kenya are witnessing growing momentum highlighting prospects for enhanced bilateral cooperation across various fields in a way that reflects the two countries’ commitment to advancing their strategic partnership and supporting shared interests.
During a media meeting Monday with Kenya’s National Media Group, held on the sidelines of his visit to the capital, Nairobi, the minister outlined Egypt’s stance on key challenges facing the African continent, especially developments in the Horn of Africa, Sudan, Somalia and the Red Sea, reaffirming Egypt’s firm commitment to supporting the pillars of peace, security and stability, addressing the root causes of crises.
Abdelatty further underscored the importance of strengthening the link between peace, security and development and backing national capacity-building efforts to promote stability and achieve sustainable development across Africa.
