Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry discussed over phone on Wednesday with his Dutch counterpart Wopke Hoekstra ways of bolstering bilateral ties, along with an array of issues of mutual concern.
Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ambassador Ahmed Hafez said the phone contact came as part of the Netherland’s continued contacts with the Egyptian side, especially that the Dutch minister newly assumed his duty in January.
The two sides also took up means to promote Egyptian-Dutch ties in a way that could realise both sides’ interests.
