Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty lauded the distinguished relations between Egypt and Indonesia, highlighting the recent boost in bilateral cooperation across various fields following the elevation of ties to a strategic partnership.
The remarks came during Abdelatty’s meeting with Deputy Foreign Minister of Indonesia Anis Matta where the two officials discussed cooperation within the framework of the Developing Eight (D-8) group, currently chaired by Indonesia.
The meeting also reviewed developments on the Palestinian issue and the implementation of the second phase of the US president’s plan, including support for the national committee for Gaza administration and the international stabilization force.
