Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry held on Monday talks with European Union’s Migration Commissioner Ylva Johansson over boosting co-operation in the migration domain.
Talks were held during Shoukry’s current visit to the EU capital, Belgium.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Hafez said the two sides discussed boosting regular migration routes, protecting migrants and refugees and developing regional and international cooperation in this regard.
During the visit, Shoukry will hand over a message from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to President of the European Council Charles Michel.
