CAIRO – Foreign Minister and President Designate of the UN Climate Change Conference 2022 (COP 27) Sameh Shoukri met on Saturday with Director of the the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (UNSDSN) and the Centre for Sustainable Development at Columbia University Jeffrey Sachs.
The two sides discussed global climate action and sustainable development issues, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Hafez said on Twitter.
The meeting, held at the Foreign Ministry headquarters, comes in light of the keenness of the Egyptian Presidency of COP 27 to reach out to all parties concerned with climate change, the spokesman added.
