CAIRO – Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty has contacted Arab, Islamic, European and US counterparts in preparation for the upcoming Sharm El Sheikh summit.
During the phone calls, Abdelatty conveyed to the world officials invitations from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and his US counterpart Donald Trump to attend the Sharm El Sheikh Peace Summit on Monday.
The summit will witness signing of a document marking the end of the war in Gaza Strip, and launching a new chapter of peace and security in the region to restore regional stability and put an end to the suffering of the Palestinian people.
Abdelatty and his US counterpart Marco Rubio discussed the preparations for the Sharm Summit for Peace under the Egyptian and US joint chairmanship.
