Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry underlined the strategic nature of ties binding Egypt and Britian.
Shoukry’s remarks were made during a meeting held with his British counterpart James Cleverly Monday, on the sidelines of the proceedings of the high-level segment of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly.
On his X (formerly Twitter) account, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said that the foreign minister affirmed to his British counterpart the strategic nature of relations between Egypt and the UK.
The spokesman further said that several issues were discussed during the meeting, topped by economic cooperation, British investments, migration, as well as the latest regional and international developments.
