SHARM EL SHEIKH– Egypt’s Finance Minister Mohamed Maait met with his Iranian counterpart Ehsan Khandouzi Tuesday to discuss means of boosting economic co-operation with Tehran in a way that would help attract more investments to Egypt.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the annual meetings of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), currently held in the Egyptian Red Sea resort city of Sharm El Sheikh.
Maaiit underlined mutual interest to upgrade joint projects between Egypt and Iran, especially in the fields of maritime transport and textile industry.
