The directives issued by the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to support local industries would help improve the products’ quality and attain increase in production, affirmed Finance Minister Mohamed Maait.
The minister’s remarks were made Sunday on the sidelines of attending the inauguration of the “Baladna Industry ” Fair, which is held under the auspices of Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli.
The National Press Authority (NPA) organizes the fair in cooperation with three state-owned press institutions; namely: Al-Ahram, Akhbar Al-Youm and Darul Al-Tahrir for Printing and Publishing.
The State’s upcoming strategy mainly focuses on enhancing industry, increasing production and providing jobs in order to strengthen the national currency, added the minister.
Events and proceedings which are taking place daily intensify this strategy, he further said.
He, meanwhile, hailed the “Baladna Industry” Fair, saying that this fair reflects the industrial advancement and copes with President Sisi’s directives to develop industry and increase the industrial-related activities.
