CAIRO – Minister of Finance Ahmed Kouchouk is due to take part as of Tuesday in the 2025 Spring Meetings of the World Bank Group (WBG), the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the G 20 meetings in Washington that will warp up on Saturday.
The minister will meet with a number of his counterparts at the G20 and representatives of major economic and financial institutions and the international banks for discussions on the status of the global economic structure and its impact on the flow of investments as well as development efforts in the African and developing nations.
Kouchouk will exchange visons and views regarding policies meant to reduce burden of debts and their services. The talks will also tackle allocating further funds to manage sustainable development efforts and the climate action agenda. The finance minister will discuss top priorities of the Egyptian government financial and economic policies.He is set to review latest macroeconomic indicators of the Egyptian economy and their remarkable improvement.
Potential investment opportunities in the Egyptian market and the growing role of the private sector in the economic, investment and trade activities will be highlighted by Kouchouk during the meetings.
