The Egyptian Finance Minister Mohamed Maait reviewed on Wednesday the outcome of the meetings held between Head of the Egyptian Customs Authority (ECA) Al-Shahat Ghatouri and director of the Jordanian customs department.
Maait, meanwhile, underlined the need of intensifying co-operation between the two countries and working on facilitating and simplifying procedures for better flow of goods and cargo between both sides.
An agreement has been reached between the two sides regarding the implementation of the Advance Cargo Information (ACI), said the ECA head.
He further said that an agreement was also reached with the Jordanian side to organise exchanged visits between representatives of Nuweiba and Aqaba ports, in order to enhance trade exchange.
