Head of the National Service Projects Organisation (NSPO) Mohamed Ahmed Mostafa toured on Monday the pavilion of the Ministry of Military Production held at Expo 2020 Dubai.
The move came within the framework of directives by Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Ahmed Morsi to open up co-operation with international companies in various fields and to transfer and localise modern manufacturing technologies.
The NSPO head briefed participants and visitors at Expo 2020 on the technological and manufacturing capabilities of the military production subsidiaries and units as well as the military and civilian products.
A number of representatives of 20 companies of different nationalities taking part in the Dubai exhibition confirmed their keenness to co-operate with military production subsidiaries, whether in joint production, technology transfer or working on projects for the benefit of Egypt, Mostafa said.
Representatives of international companies were urged to make strategic partnerships that benefit both sides in manufacturing.
Ministry participation at Expo 2020 confirms the depth of co-operation ties between Egypt and the UAE in all fields.
During a conference on the sidelines of the Expo 2020, the NSPO chief said the Ministry of Military Production possesses an integrated system based on industrial, research mechanisms, making it an important part of the national industry through its technological, manufacturing, technical capabilities as well as human resources.
“Egypt is an attractive country for investment, especially in light of the economic growth and promising economic and structural reforms it is witnessing,” Mostafa said.
