Egypt’s Minister of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs Soha Gendi asserted that the state pays attention to the Egyptians in Sudan since the start of the turmoil there.
The Egyptians are evacuated at the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to the government and all the ministries concerned to present all support and facilitations to the returnees, she said on Wednesday.
As many as 1,539 Egyptians returned from Sudan on Tuesday on board of military planes and buses, she said, adding that the efforts continue until all Egyptians return safely from Sudan.
