BERLIN- The EU representative to the 13th Petersberg Climate Dialogue (PCD) has said that summiteers aimed at saving the planet and humanity from the impact of climate change.
Addressing the opening session of the 13th PCD, the EU representative voiced hope over implementing all pledges and commitments agreed during Glasgow climate summit.
He said deaths increased in many world countries due to the crises caused by climate, calling for activating and implementing the vision of Santiago Network which aims to catalyse the technical assistance of relevant organisations, bodies, networks and experts, for the implementation of relevant approaches for averting, minimising and addressing loss and damage at the local, national and regional level, in developing countries that are particularly vulnerable to the adverse effects of climate change.
