Head of the European Union (EU) Delegation to Egypt Christian Berger said co-operation between Egypt and the EU will be furthered in 2023, especially in the migration domain.
Berger said the Egyptian-EU co-operation portfolio in the migration domain stood at 111 million euros covering 34 projects.
He particularly lauded the positive implementation of a 60-million-euro migration program that aims at promoting response to migration challenges.

He added that the second stage of this border program will be implemented with the Egyptian government at 57 million euros during the current year.
