CAIRO – Egyptian Environment Minister Yasmine Fouad said Sunday that national parks have been placed on high alert to receive visitors during the spring holidays.
Efforts are exerted to guarantee a unique tourist experience as visitors celebrate Sham el Nessim, Fouad said.
She added that national parks provide a good chance for visitors to know about the environmental heritage and culture.
Rescuers have been deployed to the national parks to help any visitors in trouble, she assured.
The minister encouraged citizens, youth in particular, to visit national parks during the spring holidays.
