Joint call issued for prompt, durable ceasefire in Gaza Strip
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi flew in to Kuwait City from Doha on Monday, beginning a visit to the State of Kuwait, the second leg in his current Gulf tour. Greeting the Egyptian leader upon arrival were Emir Mashaal, Crown-Prince Sabah and senior government figures.

Stressing the centrality of the Palestinian cause as the Arabs’ primal cause, Egypt and Qatar asserted their firm position of supporting the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including in the foremost their right to establish their independent state o the June 4, 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital and in accordance with the peace initiatives and relevant international resolutions.
