Assistant Minister of Emigration for Foreign Relations Ihab Nasr said the Emigration Ministry is ready for launching a series of conferences “Egypt Can,” under the theme “Egypt Can With Trade And Industry With Africa.”
The conferences aim to exchange benefits with African brothers and provide job opportunities in promising developmental projects in the African continent in order to find a new solution to face illegal emigration and climate change, added Nasr.
That came while participating in the 14th session of the African conference for female entrepreneurs on behalf of Minister of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs Soha Gendi, which started proceedings on October 8 and will last until October 10.
Nasr added in a statement by the ministry on Monday that the conference is very important as it is highlighting the promotion of economic empowerment and entrepreneurship of women and youth along with backing small and medium-sized projects to achieve the 2063 development agenda for the African continent and the continental free trade zone and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
