CAIRO- Egyptian Minister of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs Nabila Makram signed on Monday with Al-Azhar Grand Imam Deputy Muhammad Al-Duwaini a co-operation protocol on raising social awareness and preventing family disintegration.
The protocol stipulates supporting means of cooperation between the ministry and Al-Azhar, represented in the Reunification Entity of the International Centre for Electronic Fatwa, in the field of family and social awareness and exchanging scientific expertise and content related to solving family disputes, the ministry said in a statement.
According to the three-year protocol, the ministry will refer cases of family disputes to the Reunification Entity of Al-Azhar.
In this regard, Makram said that Egyptian families abroad should know that Al-Azhar is the best way to learn the right instructions of religion.
Meanwhile, Duwaini pointed out that Al-Azhar is ready for reunifying the Egyptian families abroad, noting protecting families is its responsibility.
