CAIRO – Egyptian Minister of Emigration Nabila Makram held Friday a virtual meeting with representatives of the Egyptian communities and entities abroad to discuss preparations for the third conference of Egyptian entities abroad, slated for August.
During the meeting, held via Zoom platform, Makram greeted the Egyptians on the anniversary of the June 30 revolution, which helped realize many political rights of expats, a statement by the Emigration Ministry read.
The meeting focused on proposals by the Egyptian representatives abroad regarding topics on the agenda of the conference.
The conference aims at listening to suggestions of representatives of the Egyptian entities abroad and mulling ways of putting them into effect.
It also aims at maintaining direct contact between the State and all Egyptian entities abroad.
